So it’s that time again, a new country and lots of new places to see. Fortunately Cambodia appears to be quite a ‘compact’ country by South East Asian standards with most journeys being a reasonable length and the majority of the main ‘sites’ based around a 2-3 cities. The itinerary below is designed for entry from Laos and exit into Vietnam. It also is designed to give a mixture of touristy places like Angkor Wat and some more slightly off the beaten track options to see small town Cambodia.

From today I have 7 weeks left of being away so hopefully I can make the most of the 16 days in Cambodia before heading to Vietnam for 3 weeks and finishing in China (visa dependent, but that story is too long for here!). I have a few final posts to write from southern Laos before I head to Siem Reap and Angkor tomorrow. I look forward to uploading some new shots from Cambodia in the not so near future!
